Title
:
Anatomical and clinical study of transranial and transsphenoidal approaches for seller, & parasellar lesions.
Total Project Period : 2003-2005 Specific Aims
:
Anatiomic study was designed to 0 quantify the operative exposure obtained in different transcranial (pterional, orbito zygomatic, Unilamatic Subfronatal and Transethmoodal) and compare with each other in the cadaver. Our goal was to measure the working area, angle of approach, surgical field depth, Length of craniotomy in the cadaveric study. Clinical study was designed for evaluation of selection of surgical approaches, extent of resection for the seller, supraseller and paraseller lesions either by transcranial transsphenoidal approach.
